New Hauls: More Revlon and Ginvera BB Cream

I've been really lazy and not been updating. It's about time I get back to my blog.

This is quite an old haul. Picked up these stuff during Watsons members' sale again. I think it was during the Chinese New Year sale.

Picked up Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation in 180 Sand Beige. I've been wanting this forever. I just couldn't bring myself to pay full price (S$29.90) for it in Singapore. Also picked up Revlon PhotoReady Stick Concealer in 004 Medium.

Now I only got this because there was 30% discount off. On top of that, I get a free makeup pouch and another Revlon nail polish (yay for freebies). I picked out Revlon Nail Enamel in 907 Steel Her Heart, which is a gunmetal shade.

Also finally got a full sized Mentholatum Acnes Creamy Wash. I did a review for it back here. It's really affordable for an acne cleanser but yet I keep forgetting to pick it whenever I go Watsons, until perhaps the Watsons members' sale. It's always sold out during members' sale so you can imagine how popular it is.

Also decided to try out the Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream. It was going for buy 1 get 1 free so I thought might as well get it. Test it and I find the Ginvera BB cream to be liquidy. It seems more of like a tinted moisturizer than a BB cream (which you would perceive it to have a thicker consistency). The shade is on the beige side but works for me. Would be trying it out longer before doing a review.

That's all for now.

New Hauls: Watsons Members' Preview Sale

Sorry for the lack of updates. I was too caught up following Singapore General Election 2011. Politics has always been the last thing in my mind so I'm pretty shocked by my interest. It is taking a long while for the emotions to sink in. I just feel so exhausted.

Went for Watsons Members' Preview Sale on 18 May. Some of the items had discounts up to 20% + 10% off.

Finally picked up Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheeks in OR302 Apricot Macaron. Had wanted PK 301 Peach Macaron too but it was sold out.

Also picked up 2 items from K-palette that I wanted to try out. There wasn't any testers for this.

I got the K-palette 1 Day tattoo 24Hr Real Lasting Eyeliner in Super Black and 24Hr Real Lasting Eyebrow Liner in 02 Greyish Brown. The K-Palette Eyeliner won BEST Liquid Eyeliner for 2010 in Singapore Women's Weekly 'Best Beauty Buys' award .

Picked up a lip balm from Mentholatum too. I've been using Mentholatum lip balms since young. Don't find them to be very moisturising but I heard this is really good so giving it a try.

Watsons was selling ZA bundled packs for $10, which is quite a good deal.

In one set, you get a ZA Eyes Vibrant eyeshadow trio in E10, a ZA Dramatic Eye Color quad in Green, a ZA Wide Eyes Mascara in Rose (I just realised the mascara is not black -.-').

For the other set, you get 2 ZA Pure Shine Lips in 01 Violet Visions and 02 Rose Toffee. These are really sheer and have tiny glitters.

I think there was also a set for ZA foundations but I missed it. I got these 2 sets since I kept missing out the ZA deals whenever I go Watsons. Not too sure how these items are. I wished there were choices for colour. :\ (What am I going to do with a rose-coloured mascara?!?!)

Other than that, it's really a good deal.

I think I'll end here.

Watsons 21st Anniversary Sale (26 Feb to 25 March)

[off-topic] If anyone's interested in the upcoming John Little cardmembers' sale mailer, I have it but I'm not posting since Kimoko did. You can check out her photos (so much clearer). I'm very excited since it does look promising. I'm jotting down a list of items to buy. :)

Their current promotion is very tempting too. Not too sure whether it applies to all items but if you are not planning to spend $100 and above, I don't think it's worth it.

Not much.

Only bought these.

Avene Thermal Spray - 2 big bottles for $29.90
Box of Watsons Green Tea Mask - $6.95 (for every $10 purchase)

I don't really like Watsons masks but this green tea masks really work well for acne. Especially for new acne that just popped up and inflamed and those that are terribly painful. That's why I had to stock up on this. Especially when it's so cheap now.

As for the thermal water spray, I've heard good reviews about it for setting makeup and calming the face when irritated. Decided to try it out. :)

Took photos of the catalogue too since it's not up on Watsons website yet. Click the photos to see a bigger version (yes bigger, but not much clearer. :\). Sorry if some of the photos are blurred. Took coffee and my hands got shaky.

Posting such photos is a pain. >.< Hope you find some great deals though.:) -edited- Watsons online catalogue is available on their site. You can check it out for clearer details.
